(Kevin) was born in New York City. He has appeared on Broadway in Zorba (Broadway Theatre), Once Removed (Long Wharf Theatre) as well as productions of West Side Story, Widows and Evita (Papermill Playhouse). He originated the role of Bobby in Living Out at the Mark Taper Forum. Films: Desperado, Fools Rush In, The Negotiator, Enemy of the State, A Day Without a Mexican, House of Sand and Fog and the upcoming The Perfect Game. Television: "Friends," "NY Undercover," "Resurrection Blvd.," "24," "Criminal Minds," "NYPD Blue," "Without a Trace" and the critically acclaimed Showtime series "Sleeper Cell." He was nominated for an Alma Award for his portrayal in the NBC mini series "Asteroids" and also garnered a SAG award as paramedic Melendez in the NBC series "ER." He currently plays Mayor Delgado in the CBS series "Shark" starring James Woods. Residing in Los Angeles for the past ten years, Carlos is thrilled to come back home with such a heartfelt project like In The Heights.

MANDY GONZALEZ
(Nina) Mandy is thrilled to be returning to the role of Nina which she created Off-Broadway (Drama Desk Award winner - Outstanding Ensemble Performance 2007). She has starred on Broadway in the musicals Lennon, Aida and Dance of the Vampires. Mandy is perhaps best known for her OBIE Award-winning performance in the Off-Broadway production of Eli’s Comin’, the musical based on the lyrics and music of songwriter Laura Nyro. She played Lucy in the Korean tour of Jekyll and Hyde: The Concert. Favorite Workshops include In the Heights, The Nightingale, Wicked, The Color Purple, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Beehive on Broadway, and When You Wish. Film/ television credits include: Julie Taymor’s Across the Universe, In God’s Hands, NBC’s “Third Watch,” and “Guiding Light.” She can be heard on the film soundtracks of Mulan 2 and Urban Legend. LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA
(Usnavi; Music and Lyrics; Original Concept) won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Original Score for In the Heights. He wrote the first incarnation of In the Heights during his sophomore year at Wesleyan University, CT. Off-Broadway: In the Heights: nine Drama Desk nominations, including Best Music, Best Lyrics and won the award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance; the Lucille Lortel Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical; the Obie Award for Outstanding Music and Lyrics; a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance and the Clarence Derwent Award, both for Mr. Miranda's performance. He is the recipient of the 2007 ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award. TV/film: "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City." (Ensemble; u/s Nina) Nina feels so blessed to be a part of In The Heights. She has recently performed in the Broadway Production of Sweet Charity as well as the Broadway production and 1st National Tour of Aida. Favorite Film/TV credits include: Music and Lyrics (Castle Rock Pictures), “30 Rock,” “Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary Celebration,” “MTV Video Music Awards”, “Today Show,” Miller Beer commercial, “American Music Awards,” “World Music Awards,” “TRL,” “All My Children,” “Saturday Night Live,” “The View,” “Tonight Show,” “Fashion Rocks,” “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” “MTV Iced Out New Year’s Eve.” Nina has also performed on tour and made many TV appearances with artists such as Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Mya, Mario, and Amerie. In addition she has performed live and on TV with other artists such as Ricky Martin, P Diddy, Lindsay Lohan, Missy Elliot, Black Eyed Peas, Sean Paul, and Kelis. Nina is from Miami, FL where she graduated from New World School of the Arts and then moved on to graduate with a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Off-Broadway: starred in the critically acclaimed one-woman musical Havana Under The Sea (Intar Theatre/2003 Hola Award for Best Actress); the title role of "La Lupe" in La Lupe, My Life, My Destiny at PRTT; the world premiere of Frank Loesser's Senor Discretion, Himself (Arena Stage); Manhattan Theatre Club Workshop of In The Heights; NYMF Magpie; Amas. Doreen is a proud member of the Musical Sketch Comedy troupe "The Watercoolers." TV "As The World Turns" (recurring role), "Law & Order" (recurring), HBO's "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel." (Ensemble; Latin Assistant Choreographer) Moved to NY in 2002 dreaming of achieving his passion of performing on a Broadway stage. As of today, Luis has performed in shows like The Mambo Kings (Frankie Suarez), Fame on 42nd Street (Joe Vegas u/s), and Aida among others. Film Credits includes: Step Up 2 The Streets (Alejandro). Dirty Dancing 2 (Diego Luna's Dance Double), Enchanted, Across the Universe, American Gangster and The Great Observer. In 2007 Luis choreographed the musicals Serenade and The Drop Outs in NYC and co-directed/choreographed the original show Mezcla in Peru. Luis has been able to assist choreographers like Maria Torres in the film Enchanted; Jamal Sims in the film Step Up 2 the Streets and is thrilled to be representing his culture as Latin assistant choreographer in this amazing musical hit. BLANCA CAMACHO
(Swing; u/s Abuela Claudia, Camila, Daniela) is a native New Yorker, lifelong resident of Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen, and a graduate of NYU. Theatre credits include productions at The Lamb's Theatre, The Public, DUO Theatre, INTAR, and PRTT. Television appearances include recurring roles in the daytime dramas "As the World Turns" as Hannah, and "Guiding Light" as Carmen Monvales, as well as roles on "Law & Order," "NYPD Blue," "NY Undercover" and "Spin City." Film appearances include All Night Bodega among others. She is an announcer for HBO Sports, has hundreds of TV and radio ads in her credits, and has also done voice work for dozens of motion pictures such as Across the Universe, American Gangster, The Nanny Diaries, The Good Shepherd, The Manchurian Candidate, Capote, World Trade Center, and new classics such as Carlito's Way, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Casino as well as the FX channel's TV series "Damages" starring Glenn Close and "Sex and the City." She has done voice characterizations for animation which include both Ice Age films, "Dora, the Explorer," and even the voice of "Chiquita Banana".
