I have tickets to tomorrow's evening performance (Oct 1, 2008) and was wondering if the cast greets fans at the stage door. This is my first time seeing the show and I'm so excited. I've had co-workers, friends and family attend but none of them are the type to wait at a stage door so I'm unable to ask them. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!

I finally had the great privilege of seeing In the Heights on Broadway yesterday. I haven't felt as much love for a show since the first time I saw Rent. The approach taken is unique and completely admirable. Every cast member is extremely talented and this is a show that I'm going to hold close to my heart for a very long time. It was truly amazing. I now consider Lin-Manuel Miranda to be one of my inspirations.

Lin-Manuel you make me really proud to be latino. I'm origanaly from Paraguay and i never thought somebody would make a musicla i could relate to as well as you did . I hope I will get to see the show sometime but a trip to NY can be expensive so go on tour plz.

I went this past Thursday and I also am addicted to the show, the music, the concept, content, characters, and Lin! This was so inspirational on so many levels. THANK YOU for having a show about our dreams, neighborhood, success, people, culture, and vida. I truly enjoyed the show and plan to take my entire family to see it. WHAT an EXPERIENCE?!!! I flew from Puerto Rico saw the play last Saturday Sep. 13 from the front row after winning the lottery. I knew every word (and I know every actor noticed )because I had received the CD as a present and it was truly inspiring. It makes me proud as a latino, Puerto Rican and fan in general. It was a wonderful experience that in some way brought us all to our roots, to our own small islands and homes whatever they may be. Thank you Lin the same as Larson you are at least to me una gran inspiracion. Paciencia y Fe y Adelante los espero en Puerto Rico...

Today was my 15th time seeing "In the Heights". I can't get enough of the music and dancing its addicting. Yo, it’s me again. I'm out of control!! It's now the 14th time that I have seen the show. I'm just addicted to the music and songs of this great show. I have seen several of the understudies performing the major roles and they all have been great. I can't wait to see the cast at the signing at Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Center triangle on September 16th @ 4:30 PM. No pare, sigue, sigue.

Wow. Well I first saw the show in March. I absolutely loved it. Such a touching story of life, there was so much joy and sense of community to this particular musical. Moreover, next in the coming months I am planning to bring the rest of my family to see this show.
My one big dream is to be on Broadway or even in a West End show and "In the Heights" is exactly the type of musical I would like to participate in.
Congratulations to the whole cast and crew for their 2008 Tony Wins!!!

This is the single best musical I have seen. I CANNOT stop listening to the soundtrack. On my 2 hour commute to work I literally play it on repeat. WHEN WILL IT COME TO CHICAGO????

My brother saw the show when it was off-Broadway - he loved it so much, he bought tickets for my parents for the following week. My parents loved it, so they recommended it to me and my sister. I was able to take my daughter this summer to see it and SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY TRANSFORMED. She now knows she wants to play Nina when she grows up! Great show! My daughter also wants the show to come to Los Angeles, so that she can go with her friends.

By now you should know that the show is a wonderful thing . Lin-manuel miranda made something amazing with this show and it has acomplished so much. what you may not know is the impact it has had on me in particular. for many years now i have had this longging and lost feeling without knowing what it was when in essence i was looking for "my home". ive had so many problems in these last few years and every time i get closer to home i get torn away. Im a college student facing troubles like any other but truely im unhappy with where i am on so many levels and every day is a struggle for me to bring myself somewhere higher, somewhere better. it almost seemed like there was no end for me, and this feeling, and struggle but after seeing your show i've learned that with effort and a lil pacienca y fe you will find your home even if it comes to you, you will find Home. you give me drive, you give me life, and you give me hope for the future and my life and for that i thank you from the depths of my heart. I saw ITH August 27th, 5 hours before I flew out from New York and went to college and let me tell you, it was the moment of a lifetime. Weeks later it is running through my head and my signed poster from the cast is hanging under my loft. Our floor decided to decorate the hallways and for my decoration I made a poster that says "Paciencia Y Fe" because this show really is proof that with patience and faith all things are possible. There's something about this show that's unlike any other I've seen, and I can't wait to see it again, as I know it will (or at least should) run for a LONG time. Gracias Lin-Manuel Miranda!!!

Saw the play on the 31st. Great, just absolutly great. The score, dancing, singing, the emotions, the passion of the father for his daughter, abuela, the jokes and the whole idea of it.
My only suggestion is perhaps one day give a free show to the high schoolers that in the theater prgm to inspire them and encourage them because this is the perfect play....only a suggestion. Congrats to the the wonderful cast and dancers and lin manuel

I recently moved to Brooklyn from LA. I had heard good things about "In the Heights," but I wasn't prepared to be blown away by such an amazing performance. I really appreciated the humor and poignancy and, of course, the flashbacks to the pop music of my childhood. It was such a brilliantly written, insightful musical that is very real and honest. It also gave me a fresh perspective to better understand my new neighborhood here. Congratulations on all the well-deserved awards!

I'm a singer and dancer from Brasil (U/S Amneris in Aida, High School Musical Tour, Peter Pan)and I'm in love with the show!!! I only watched the YouTube and Tony scenes, and ran to listen to rest of the music... and now I just can't stop it! I cried, laughed... I'm addicted to it! Now I have to go no NY to see it live! And I hope someone brings this show to Sao Paulo!! It's a dream come true for us, LATINOS to see this show on Broadway! God bless you all

I still have not been able to see the show (Texas... ugh), but I would like to thank you for introducing me to music that I would have not otherwise listened to. I had no real interest in hispanic music or ESPECIALLY rap music, and through buying this cast recording, I have not only been blessed by this amazing story, but have had my world opened up to a whole new form of music that I truely love. I hope to see it soon! November can't be close enough!
